Fashion, beauty and lifestyle photographer
Specialist in storytelling through images
Strategic visual content for brands, artists, models, actors, and professionals.
I’m Daniel Emperador, a professional photographer specializing in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I create visual content that communicates and tells stories. I blend my background in journalism with my experience and training as a professional photographer to convey emotions and unique messages in every project. Telling stories with words is not the same as telling them without them.
Originally from Venezuela, I’ve been living in Spain for about nine years. I hold a degree in Journalism and Advertising from Arturo Michelena University (Venezuela) and have trained as a professional photographer, completing an 800-hour diploma at Espai d’Art Fotogràfic (Valencia), a 140-hour program at Escuela Revelarte (Valencia), and a one-year online scholarship from Adobe Latam.
I’ve also participated in workshops with Godox Spain, Sony Alpha, Canon, Phase One, Innovahaus, Kina Photo, PHoto España, Profoto, Fotima Import, and professionals such as Iván Dumond, Juan Giménez, Lidia Vives, Antonio Garci, and Valencia Photo, among others.
Beyond photography, I’ve expanded my focus to the audiovisual field, creating videos known for their elegance and visual storytelling. My style blends naturalness, simplicity, and spontaneity, always infused with soul and genuine emotions. Every project is an opportunity to explore new ideas, evolve, and push my own limits while staying true to my artistic essence.
I am currently based in Valencia, frequently working in Madrid and Barcelona. I am available for national and international projects

Fashion and beauty editorials
One of the areas I am most passionate about is the creation of fashion and beauty editorials. I love developing projects that are built on coherence, a compelling narrative, and a strong conceptual foundation; for this reason, this type of work holds a very special place in my career.
Several of my editorials have been published in international magazines across cities such as New York, Miami, Toronto, Milan, Paris, Moscow, Kyiv, Dubai, and more. These projects were conceived from the beginning with the clear intention of being published, allowing me to open new doors and strengthen my career both nationally and internationally.
In Spain, one of our editorials was published in ¡Hola! Spain magazine, along with other features that you can explore in the press section.
In every project, my goal is to craft images that are not only visually striking, but that also communicate, resonate, and enhance the value of each publication
Events and backstage
In the film industry, I have covered events such as the Berlanga Awards in 2021 and 2022, the Lola Gaos Awards in 2025, and the Goya Awards in 2022.
In fashion, I have worked with various festivals and events, creating behind-the-scenes and backstage reports, including Clec Fashion Festival in 2022, 2023, and 2024, Mediterránea Fashion Week in 2023 and 2025, and the Barreira Fashion Show in 2022, 2023, and 2024. I have also collaborated on several charity events and runways, such as Adela Contigo, El Sueño de Vicky, and the Asociación Contra el Cáncer.
In the hairdressing and beauty industry, I have covered the Vanila Hairdressing Awards and several beauty pageants, including Miss RNB, Miss Valencia, Miss World, Miss Grand, among others.
In music, I worked at the Benidorm Fest for Eurovision
Cinematic projects (still photographer)
I have had the opportunity to be part of the technical team on several audiovisual projects. In two of them, I worked as a still photographer, including Las Consecuencias by Sin Rodeos Films, which won two Silver Biznaga awards at the Málaga Film Festival in 2021. The cast featured Juana Acosta, Carme Elias, Alfredo Castro, María Romanillos, Sonia Almarcha, among others.
More recently, I was in charge of all still photography for the film Morir no siempre sale bien, produced by Tornasol Films and Voramar Films, a project currently in post-production. The cast includes Ana Wagener, Tamara Casellas, Juan Carlos Vellido, Raúl Prieto, among others.
I also participated in the production of the documentary Mientras seas tú, el aquí y ahora de Carme Elías, produced by Sin Rodeos Films and co-produced by Nakamura Films, which was awarded the Goya for Best Documentary in 2023.
Valoa Studio: An Extension of My Work
I created Valoa Studio, an independent project and portfolio focused on visual content for personal brands, commercial brands, professionals, companies, and businesses in the beauty, wellness, and lifestyle sectors. Through this platform, we transform words into images that communicate and enhance their market impact, strengthening their visual communication and sales opportunities. Thanks to this initiative and the experience I have gained over the years, I was selected as one of the 50 global scholarship recipients in Adobe’s commercial photography education program.
Currently, I am seeking artistic and brand representation to continue growing and explore new opportunities. If you’re interested in collaborating or need more information, feel free to reach out.
